Training: BSc Biochemistry
Elin is a university graduate who has spent half of her life involved in RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts as both a student and a member of staff. Through her time learning and acting with RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts she has experienced every aspect of performance and production, and studied the key influential practitioners and the theory of theatre inside out. As her education continued her passion for acting developed into an interest in directing which she was able to exercise within classes, driving her towards her current position as associate director. Creative writing is another love of Elin’s, within the last year she has written commissioned material such as two feature length radio plays and worked as a creator on the new musical Black Widows. She also co-wrote much of RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts’ original work such as Private Property, The Fitzroy Tavern and Heroes of Our Time.
Outside of RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts, she refines her literary skills through writing and performing her own poetry as well as always having a script in progress. She looks forward to continuing to keep art, performing and writing at the centre of her life, and is excited for the challenges and inspirations that theatre will continue to bring her.

Since a young age Ben has always been involved in performing, inside and out of education. Taking part in productions in school and joining RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts as a student towards the end of his secondary education. Ben went on to receive a distinction in the UAL Performing Arts Acting pathway at Weston College whilst training at RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts. Once his time at college had ended he went on to study Drama with Creative Writing at UWE Bristol graduating in 2022.
Ben has a knack for detail and loves realistic story telling. He believes it’s the little things that creates the larger picture, real people tell the most moving stories. It these principles that make Ben strong in teaching naturalism along with his years of training and experience. While at University he realised his passion for story telling and his ability to create believable characters on paper, rather than on stage. It’s for these skills that Ben hosts our The Actor’s Toolkits classes, where he creates original productions that break the mould and test our students with challenging topics.
Ben has considered RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts to be second family and he is always very proud watching from side of stage or lighting box, seeing his work come to life and the passion the students show.
